Puja ,, the context is also right , that was the reason why Lord Ram has to separate from Maa sita . I know the Dhobi stuff is also der but behind the scenes this was the main reason . As God Ram is known As Marayada Purshotam , so He again Proves it with this . I think this might Pacify your doubt . This reference is from Shiv Puran . I have heard this Katha from a Saint .
