To India’s Independence Day – Jai Hind!!!
To the day of my country, and to the day to my freedom,
Though I was not born, but few were born to fight,
martyrs brought the freedom and smile back to many lives and faces,
which now blossoms like roses – a birthright to say;
Then we used to fight for freedom,
to fight outside people within our country,
today we fight within ourselves,
thou the race seems mysterious yet inevitable – none labels the race;
We were born free – a birthright of mankind so to say,
Corruption, violence and lack of transparent governance – pillars shaking India yet none to trace,
Farmers are painstakingly sentencing their life – a black truth,
We fear to raise voice against all and none - we turn mute spectators again and again;
