“Be yourself!
Live by your words…. Never ever go with the horde… you are the owner of your own destiny…
Life is in your hands…not in the soul of any living creature…but YOU!
Of course, and my ever chanting mantra…: Never Never Ever Give up! ”
Why all of a sudden these preaching words??.., yeah…though I wont recall all these throughout my diurnal but there’ll be sure presence and enliven in my instincts …while contemplating the things what I pursue…at the end clearly reflects these words…well, yeah sounds too weird or abstract… but I mean it:)
Bythway, Yes, this is what exactly clearly depicted in an awesome movie played by amazing Henry Fonda…who is touted as America’s one of the greatest actor of all time!
Oops! By the way…am talking about the movie here: titled as 12 – Angry Men and Directed by Sidney lumet in 1950’s…this is a real classic movie…lemme tell you…absolutely a treat to watch, where all 12 characters exhibiting their own theatrical styles…simply hair-rising stuff… am dumbfounded!

The whole movie theme goes like this…
Life Is In Their Hands — Death Is On Their Minds!
This is all about a juror who convinces all others on a murder charge over a 18yr old boy by explaining with his extremely subtle and intricate reasoning…amazing script!
There were 12 jurors, out of whopping 11 Jurors were favored the vote with ‘guilty’ but the lone juror with a rationale cult opposes by casting his vote as ‘Not guilty’… at first it’s pretty evident that the case is absolutely got clear majority on behalf of11 jurors so very much chance for boy may get convicted…but wait a min there is one soul exist who says…I object, your honor!… and proves there is always truth exist and we should never ever giveup until its expounded ..Now that’s how there begins the drama…
my goodness, the whole movie was picturised in a single room for almost 90mins of its total duration 96mins! Now it’ll be a damn good challenge for any director to do that…absolutely…someone should be really smart and loaded with ample tricks almost must to command viewer’s attention and make them to sit on the seat and hookup @ screens…isn’t it? That’s what exactly Mr.sidney lumet had done…tremendous job!

Also, the specialty about the movie was …the 12 different characters…
everyone can identify with clearly…characters like The thinker, the sensitive man, the arrogant bully, the opportunist, the mentally challenged loudmouth, the slime ball, the emotionally inhibited..etc! They’re all here! This film is a revelation!…in history of theatrics is concerned…no doubt on that..and i feel really lucky to boast myself … ‘Yes, I have watched it’
More over, it inspired me…with its optimistic approach to an issue at amidst of most dreaded humans who all want you to succumb to their fiendish arguments.
It’s a true classicism at its best… good story perfectly told with breath taking dialogues and it’s perfect execution by good 12 really angry men!
Story may sound simple as sitting in a room deciding the fate of a 18yr old boy on trial for murder. And yet this movie is far more exciting, thrilling and inspiring than whatever gets classed as any of those adjectives these days.
Now that was my yesterdays night show
..really truly loved every minute of its 96mins!
Thanks for such a wonderful play…Mr.Sidneylumet ofcourse, not only for your direction skills but even acting skills too… not bad at all!… as a Bank Manager…you did good job!… you little man

hey HG u have convicned me to watch this 12 angry men
u have expressed it beautiuflly
keep it up
I saw it a few months back. And i second you. Its a brilliant movie. Hats off to Mr Lumet for making such a wonderful movie. And Henry Fonda was mesmerizing in his role as the unconvinced juror.
But I still wonder, what in spite of all the possibilities against it, the boy did actually kill his father ??
Thanks for your compliment, *Nidhi*
Nope, as per the reasonings of those smart and hard witted jurors..not! nevertheless, technically we haven’t got any further screen during culmination part to confirm on that.
btw, glad to know even you liked the movie
I have watched it 4-5 times…Awesome movie. One of my fav.
To Bazinga,
I will quote few words from Seth Godin:
” Benefit of the doubt
It’s almost impossible to communicate something clearly and succinctly to everyone, all the time.
So misunderstandings occur.
We misunderstand a comment or a gesture or a policy or a contract.
And then what happens?
Well, if we’re engaged with someone we like or trust, we give them the benefit of the doubt. We either assume that what they actually meant was the thing we expected from someone like them, or we ask about it.
If we’re engaged with a stranger or someone we don’t trust, we assume the worst.
The challenge, then, is to earn the benefit of the doubt. How many of your customers, prospects, vendors, regulators and colleagues give you the benefit of the doubt?
If you worked at it, could you make that number increase?
”
I hope u get ur answer from this.
