More Blogging Tips for your TG Town Blog
Many of you have been trying all that SEO stuff such as meta tag, seo plugins etc. on your TG Town blogs. Frankly, there is no need. Google loves wordpress mu, the platform on which TG Town is built and the posts in your blog get rapidly indexed. The reason is that the frequency of spiders’ visit is high on websites which get refreshed at a high pace such as news websites. As we have daily uploads of blogs on TG Town, google spiders visit here many times in a day. Therefore, you do not need any SEP plugin; just take care of the titles of your posts, keywords in your posts, and your tags to rank well in google searches. If you want google spiders to come nearly every minute, you all will have to do what I asked earlier- each of you should leave 10 links of your blogs on the internet. Place your blog link on any website, forum or blog that you can find. I was reading OTG’s post on “HOW TO MAKE A STYLE POST” It’s a great post for many of you newbies. I have two more tips to offer-
- Make categories- whenever you are writing a new post, you will see option called “categories” on your right. Make categories for your post. For example, mine for this post is “blogging tips.”
- Try to use ‘more tag’ in your posts which inserts a ‘read more’ in your post if someone is viewing your blog’s page. That ways, a reader will not see the full post if he’s viewing your blog and he would be able to see more posts by scrolling less. In the image below, button circled red inserts more tag in your posts.

I have however fallen in love with ‘Atahualpa’ theme.It is suiting my content well and the preview looks kick ass.
Should i go ahead and change the theme!! I will try inserting the saved ad code to see if it works.

Go To Dashboard. On LHs of your sideboard, the last icon says “Setting” When you move your cursor on that button, you would see options such as “General” “Writing” etc. Click on “General” and you would be able to see an option to change your blog name/ Tagline etc.

In my case for different posts i created different tags moreso because my posts were not on similar concept except for the fact that they were all an attempt at humor!
