correct usage of pronouns
by anant pathak - Sunday, 25 August 2013, 12:29 AM
I'm getting some doubt in these 2 sentences.

1.Rama is as old as__me__.
2.He is as good as__I___.

my doubt is that in both sentences a comparison is being made then
why do we use an objective pronoun in the first sentence and a subjective one in the next?

Please clarify.

when we are comparing two persons we have to use the same form that
instead of me in 1st we use 'i' and me in 2nd

  Hi,
In both the sentences it should be 'I'.
1. Rama is as old as I (am).
2. He is as good as I (am).
