they start at a distance seperating them by x/2(circumference = x ) after first 12 min they meet and travel a combined distance of x/2(as they meet).hence in the next 12 min they will again travel combined distance of x/2 and again get seperated by x/2.now they will meet after next 12 min i.e at 36 min so distances between them at multiples of 12 can be either 0 or x/2 . so at 144 they cannot be separated by a distance of x/4 . someone plz verify i could be wrong..  |
