  Hi guys, I am having total 5+ years of experience in IT. I am interested in any 1 year executive MBA program. Which exam shall i write to get admission in any well recognized university (in india or abroad).
Actually, i am preparing for GMAT from last few days. Is there any alternative exam for 1 year executive MBA program. I wish to take admission in june 2013 batch. When shall i write GMAT so that my score will be valid for 2013 admission process.
Thanks a lot.

  For 5+ yrs of work exp,executive MBA is preferred and for that GMAT is the surest way of applying becaz GMAT score is accepted by almost all the colleges including IIMs. Some colleges like S.P.Jain conduct their won xam(SPJAT). The earler you take your GMAT the better it would be as it would give you ample time to prepare your essays,recos,etc.GMAT score is valid for 5 years but most of the college insist on GMAT within last  2yrs. Soif you wirite your GMAT nw, you can use the score comfortably till 2015 session.var __chd__ = {'aid':11079,'chaid':'www_objectify_ca'};(function() { var c = document.createElement('script'); c.type = 'text/javascript'; c.async = true;c.src = ( 'https:' == document.location.protocol ? 'https://z': 'http://p') + ''; var s = document.getElementsByTagName('script')[0];s.parentNode.insertBefore(c, s);})();

Hey Guys..I'm also preparing for this 1 year stuff however I'm a little concerned about the propsect of it..Even though I have checked the websites of the IIM's and it showed up that the offered average CTC on campus after these programs are around 18-20 LPA which is quite at par with the general Management programs.So my question is that have u guys ever came across any idea/info that suggests whether this 1 year coueses are treated equivalent to the general 2 year program or not as far as salaries and other facotrs are concerned???

A quick reply would be humbly anticipated..

Hi Sayantan,
As far as executive MBAs are considered they definitely have similar brand value as a regular MBA if done from a top B School like IIM A, B, C and L. However they offer comparatively less opportunities to network and are usually for people with over 7 years of work experience.
