Use of prepositions

Please tell me what does the following sentence mean??
I like to lie in the shade of the tree and think of the jobs for the day.

a) I like to lie in the shade of the tree. And, I think of the jobs for the day.
b) I like to lie in the shade of the tree. And, I like to think of the jobs for the day while sitting under the shade of the tree.

That is, is "to" common for the verbs "lie" & "think"?

  Hi,
Option B is correct since, it means "I like to -> lie int the shade of the tree and (then) think of the jobs for the day."
