For people like us who live and breathe on the
internet, it becomes utterly important to keep our surfing customised with the
basic tools that could save our time and make our task easier. I cannot imagine
myself without a Google toolbar or a reader. It saves much of my time. With a
toolbar, I don't have to worry about opening google time and again to do a new
search, spell checks, highlights, or form fillings etc.Read the rest of this topic (464 words)...

As the new year dawns, we try to do something new for our CAT aspirants. The
year 2010 is no different. This year we want to cover the basics of Quant, Verbal
and DI. We have already taken a step in this direction in the form of our Vocabulary flash cards
(more coming up!) and now it is time for some basic lessons.Read the rest of this topic (2518 words)... |

In 2006, after I had scored 770 in GMAT, my business
school essays began with a common theme- “I want to do an MBA because I want to
start my own business and I want to learn basics of business such as finance,
accounting etc. and therefore, an MBA degree will help me prepare myself to
become an entrepreneur.Read the rest of this topic (423 words)...

Two years back, when we were in the
process of opening our first CAT classroom coaching 'Tathagat' with Riddler, a
friend from Pune asked him,"yaar, totalgadha.com MBA website ka naam suna hai?"
Riddler obviously said yes but asked his friend how he knew about totalgadha.com.
His friend said, "every morning most of
my colleagues log online to totalgadha.Read the rest of this topic (508 words)...

As Dagny is busy focusing on her GMAT Blog, Kamal is
cracking quant questions online at TG Math, people are fervently blogging about ‘3
Idiots’ at TG Town, and New Year chill is slowly receding from Delhi weather,
MBA 2010 fever is slowly rising inside me. The dulling effect- after one CAT is
over- is slowly ebbing away and coming back instead is the realization that the
game is going to start all over again.Read the rest of this topic (292 words)...

Both TG and DaGny, constantly overwhelmed by their time
limitations, have repeatedly asked me to write an article for their intellectually
hunger-stricken CAT 2010 junta. When DaGny wanted me to write a motivational
article before CAT, I presented a basket of good problems with answers. And now
when TG asked me to write a basic article for our RMO section, I wrote
on a topic which is hot in mock tests and whose questions are as confusing to the
students as their solutions given by almost every question poser institute- maxima and minima questions based on set theory.Read the rest of this topic (287 words)...

Many of you MBA 2010 aspirants would not be knowing about the existence
of Total Gadha Math. Those who DO know about it may not be knowing why we
created it. Here's why; In the past few years it has been visible to us that
our team has been blessed with a good competence in Quant, Verbal etc., the

The CAT 2009 verdict is final- there is going to be no retest or re-exam.
This is certainly a bad news. All the speculations and allegations about
unfairness could have been avoided by having a paper-pencil test for this year.
But for those who are going to get GD-PI calls in 2010, more bad news is going to come.Read the rest of this topic (434 words)... |

We have started getting official
reports and requests from many Business Schools to cover them online in our B-school
Info section. Although we are selective in that regard, we have decided to
cover some of them on TG. Last year, a student was getting confused between
joining Goa Institute of Management and some other business school.Read the rest of this topic (1370 words)... |
